What data does Parseproof collect?

None intentionally. Parseproof does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage analytics, or identifying information. There are no cookies, no tracking scripts, no analytics services, and no third-party embeds on this site.

JSON paste mode

When you paste JSON text and click “Parse,” the parsing is performed entirely in your browser using JavaScript’s built-in JSON.parse(). The pasted content is never sent to any server. It remains in your browser’s memory only for the duration of the page session and is discarded when you close or reload the page.

URL fetch mode

When you enter a URL and click “Fetch,” the browser sends a request to the Parseproof Worker (a serverless function running on Cloudflare’s network). The Worker performs an HTTP GET to the target URL you provided and returns the response (status, headers, and body) to your browser.

The Worker does not store or log the URL you provide, the response it receives, or any metadata about the request. The response is streamed through memory and returned to you immediately. No persistent storage is involved at any point.

Cloudflare & infrastructure

This site is hosted on Cloudflare’s edge network. Cloudflare may process standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, User-Agent, request path) for the purpose of routing and delivering the site. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is governed by Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

No accounts, no data retention

Parseproof does not offer user accounts, authentication, or any form of persistent user identity. There is no database, no session store, and no logging system. Nothing you do on this site is recorded or retrievable after your page session ends.
